Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Staurus Training Limited ("Staurus Training", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with this website and our training services. It is issued in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025 issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

In short: this website does not run a contact form, analytics, or advertising trackers. The only personal data we receive from a visitor is what you choose to send us by email or phone. This notice will need updating if that changes — see the note on future data collection below.

Staurus Training Limited, a company incorporated in Nigeria (RC 998054), with its registered office at 52 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller for the purposes of this notice.

We do not use a contact form, cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers on this website, and we do not automatically collect browsing data from visitors.

3. Third-party services

This website loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Loading a font this way causes your browser to make a request to Google's servers, which will see your IP address. Google's own privacy practices govern that request; we do not receive or store that information ourselves.

4. How long we keep data

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where a training engagement follows, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period for our accounting and audit obligations. We do not use enquiry data for marketing unless you separately agree to that.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share enquiry details with facilitators or partner organisations directly engaged to deliver a specific training programme you have enquired about, and only to the extent needed for that purpose.

6. Your rights

Under the NDPA you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you may object to processing carried out on a legitimate-interest basis. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond without undue delay.

7. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

Note for Staurus Training: if a contact form, mailing list, booking system, or analytics tool (e.g. Google Analytics) is added to the site in future, this notice needs updating before that feature goes live — those additions bring in cookie consent requirements under Article 19 of the GAID that don't apply to the site as it stands today.
