Privacy Notice
Last updated: 11 October 2026This notice explains how Staurus Training Limited ("Staurus Training", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with this website and our training services. It is issued in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025 issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
1. Who we are
Staurus Training Limited, a company incorporated in Nigeria (RC 998054), with its registered office at 52 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller for the purposes of this notice.

2. What we collect and why

Your details remain in memory on the page until you choose a sending option; the application does not save them in browser storage. Direct sending transmits the brief to our server and email provider so it can be delivered to hello@staurustraining.com. A reference and email-service identifier help us investigate delivery; the enquiry text is not written to application logs. An acceptance message confirms that the email service accepted the request, not that a person has read it. Opening your email app or WhatsApp transfers you to that provider. Our application does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. The hosting provider processes technical request information to serve and secure the website.
3. Third-party services
The website is hosted on Vercel, which receives technical information such as IP addresses and browser request details when serving pages and protecting the service. When direct sending is enabled, Resend processes the submitted details and delivery information to send the email. These hosting and email services may process data outside Nigeria. Fonts, images and scripts are served with the website. No Google Fonts request is made. If you contact us using your email provider or WhatsApp, their own privacy practices also apply.
4. How long we keep data
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where a training engagement follows, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period for our accounting and audit obligations. We do not use enquiry data for marketing unless you separately agree to that.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share enquiry details with facilitators or partner organisations directly engaged to deliver a specific training programme you have enquired about, and only to the extent needed for that purpose.
6. Your rights
Under the NDPA you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you may object to processing carried out on a legitimate-interest basis. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond without undue delay.
7. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).
